MMAR Educational and Event Sponsorship Guidelines
Most education classes and events have food donations or monetary sponsorships to MMAR to help offset the costs of the classes and provide an opportunity to an individual to market their company to the attendees.
After the education schedule is created, usually in the fall of each year, sponsorship opportunities will be announced. The MMAR Affiliates group will be the first to choose sponsorships. If any sponsorship is not filled, they will then be offered to the general public outside of MMAR membership.
Title company marketing reps and mortgage originators will be listed as providing refreshments not as sponsors of classes or events due to restrictions by the Colorado Insurance Commission and the Real Estate Settlement and Procedures Act (RESPA).
