MMAR’s Mission and Vision
Located in beautiful Evergreen, CO, MMAR’s members are REALTORS® and Affiliate Business Members. Currently, our membership of over 300 REALTOR® members and 37 Affiliate business members all from our local community make up the Association.
Our REALTOR ®members serve the public in the buying and selling of homes and property and our Affiliate members provide services that aid the REALTOR® or the home owner. Use our “Find a REALTOR®” or “Find an Affiliate” to search for a member to assist you.
MMAR provides education and support to its members to advance in their profession thus offering qualified professionals to serve the public.
Mountain Metro Association of REALTORS® is a non-profit trade association for REALTORS® and Affiliate businesses. MMAR became an Association in 1965 and is a local representation of the National Association of REALTORS®. MMAR’s members cover the geography from Georgetown east on I70 through Evergreen, Conifer and out to Park County. MMAR provides education, social events and is very active in community outreach. We were the 2012 Pearl Award Winner from the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce. The National Association of REALTORS® mission and MMAR’s mission is “to work for America’s property owners and provide a facility for professional development, research and exchange of information among its members and to the public and government for the purpose of preserving the free enterprise system and the right to own real property.”
Not all real estate agents are REALTORS®. The term REALTOR® is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.
The mission of the Mountain Metro Association of REALTORS® is to support its membership by enhancing its abilities and opportunities to succeed by:
- Facilitating member participation and cooperation
- Promoting integrity and ethical standards
- Providing educational opportunities
- Influencing legislative and regulatory issues and supporting private property rights
- Supporting community outreach programs
- Strengthening the REALTOR® image by informing the public of the value of working with a REALTOR®.
